First consultation and examination
I listen to your expectations and assess your nose both aesthetically and functionally. We set realistic goals together.
Planning
We discuss an approach and technique suited to your facial proportions. How the process will unfold, the possible risks, and the recovery are explained.
The day of surgery
The procedure is carried out with the planned technique and under suitable anesthesia. Post-operative care instructions are shared afterward.
The most common questions
The initial splint/packing is usually removed within a week. Social recovery becomes apparent within a few weeks; the nose can take months to reach its final shape. The process varies from person to person.
With the closed technique, the incisions are inside the nose. With the open technique, the small incision on the columella becomes less noticeable over time; healing varies from person to person.
Most people describe nasal congestion and a feeling of pressure rather than severe pain. Any discomfort can usually be managed with appropriate care.
The aim is an understated result in harmony with your face. A natural look is pursued by keeping careful planning and realistic expectations at the forefront.
In suitable cases, the aesthetic and functional correction (septorhinoplasty) can be addressed in the same operation. Suitability is determined during the examination.
