About
Rıdvan Büdün, MD
The nose sits at the center of the face and shapes both appearance and breathing. For this reason, I approach rhinoplasty not only as an aesthetic procedure but also as functional surgery.
Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialist

I see patients at Medihaus Cerrahi Tıp Merkezi (Surgical Medical Center) in Esenyurt, İstanbul. In my examinations, I take the time to listen carefully, clarify expectations, and arrive at a realistic plan.
My approach
- A natural result in harmony with the face — I avoid an obvious "operated-on" look.
- Aesthetics and function together — a nose that looks good but does not let you breathe is an incomplete result.
- Realistic expectations — every patient and every tissue is different; the definitive plan is decided together during the examination.
- Informed decisions — I explain the process, possible risks, and recovery in clear terms.
Why does the ENT specialist's perspective matter?
ENT specialists know the internal structure of the nose (the septum, the turbinates, the airway) in detail. This means that functional problems such as difficulty breathing can be addressed in the same operation as an aesthetic correction — septorhinoplasty is a typical example.
